How to play Minecraft Connections
- Tap 4 items you think share a connection.
- Press Submit. Get it right and the group folds into a coloured bar showing all 4 items.
- Get it wrong and you lose one of your 6 hearts. If 3 of your 4 were correct, we tell you “one away”.
- Repeat a guess you already made and it costs you nothing — we just say you have already tried it.
- Clear all 4 groups before your hearts run out.
Difficulty colours
Each group has a difficulty. Colour is never the only clue — every bar also carries a shape, so the game stays readable if you are colour blind.

Tips for solving Minecraft Connections
- Start with the group you are surest of, not the one you spotted first. A wrong guess costs a heart; there is no reward for going fast.
- If five items seem to fit one idea, one of them belongs somewhere else. That is the whole trick — find which of the five is needed by another group and the board unlocks.
- Think in game mechanics, not in looks. Ask what the item does — does a villager claim it, does it emit light, does it burn in a furnace, does it only generate in one dimension — rather than what colour it is.
- Use the "one away" message. It tells you three of your four were right, so change exactly one item rather than starting the guess over.
Minecraft Connections answers and hints
Today’s answers appear nowhere on this site — not in the archive, not in a shared result, not in the page source. That is deliberate: the whole point of one shared daily board is that nobody gets spoiled before they have played it.
The moment a puzzle expires, its full solution is published: all four categories, the four items in each, the difficulty colour and a short explanation of the connection — including which item was there purely to mislead you. Every past day is browsable in the archive. Answer archive
